Erewash Canal

Stretching from Trent Lock at Sawley to Langley Mill Basin, this working Canal hosts Butterflies and Dragonflies as well as Kingfisher and Wildfowl and Little Grebe.

A recent Bittern at Cotmanay by the Bridge Inn, attracted many birders to the canal.
