    first thought was black headed gull, may well be,but black bib looks low  down its front and an all black beak that looks longer and thiner

    Had my first butterfly in the garden yesterday ( large lime green one )sorry thats the best i can do ,not at butterfly men as yet but hopefully will get to be at some point .:)

    The life boat cafe down near the pier in cromer

    Thanks Paul/Daz.This bird is the only one that has been to the bird table all winter so far,we did get good numbers upto 2007 but this has gone down year on year even the live mealworms i had put out didnt keep it around for long,and your both spot on in good light this bird can be a show winner .Thanks again Alan

      I love starlings, if you catch them just right in the sunlight they have the most wanderful colours and they are so musical. I havent seen many of them this year. Good shot aswell alan.

      I’ve had quite a few of these on my feeders, they come for the small suet pieces to eat and in doing this they empty the rest of what’s in the feeder on the floor. Nice image of this bird.

      nice one daz
      i have had nothing on my feeders all winter used to have starlings lovely colours not had one , and know ive got redwings, fieldfares every morning when i wake up and look down the garden , you cant win can you, not complaing really
