Just put a post up on the main site on how I edit shots. Might be of interest (or amusement) to some!

Hi Chris. Only just found this part of the site. Have a look on the WEX website. They have lots of products and all are easy to use. If you bring you’re camera along on Friday I’ll give it a clean for you with my Arctic Butterfly brush.

I have a couple of spots of my sensor too Chris. I know how to do with mirror lockup and a blower but my hands are quite small and I don’t seem to be able to squeeze the blower hard enough to remove the dust. Paul maybe you would have a go at mine as well?

I wouldn’t advise blowing inside your camera Maggie. The part the dust spots get on is actually a filter for your sensor. If you blow dust around it could get onto the sensor proper. You’ll never remove them then. I’ll gladly sort your camera out next time we meet up.

Yeah, thanks Garry, I’ll check out your link. I’ll also see what can be done to advertise the posts more – it shows in recent activity, but that’s all.

Just to say Chris when posting in these forums it doesn`t show on the recent posts
and comments on the home page.So perhaps there will not be to many responses.

Hi – I have a few spots on my sensor – can anyone recommend how to clean it? Is it best to send it away or can I attempt it myself. I must admit I’m terrified.
