Chris, I've tried this and had no luck with it by clicking on the 'tree' icon and pasting a link to my photo's in Photobucket but I've now tried by pasting the link directly into the 'reply to post' box to see if this works.

Well blow me – it turns out that the permission on the forum stopped people uploading photos. This has been fixed! Sorry.
To add a photo to your post click on the "little tree in a picture" icon in the toolbar, and from there upload the picture using Folder icon next to the URL (or add the URL if its elsewhere) and then, once you see the successful message, go to the browse tab to pick it and then set how you want to display it.
Its not exactly intuitive but then the forum software limits what I can do to make it any easier…

hi simon sorry i have not got back to you the geneorator is out on loan its down south his dad took it on holiday in the caravan he uses it for the van as there id no elictric on site he wont be back for another 3 weeks so thats a no no for that shame about it just hope it works when he gets it down there ,, im up to the neck decorating but hope to be finished in a bit what date was the moth night will try and get as things have got a bit ectic this end went on that donkins site for the tubes there pretty cheap think there about £2 some think for a pack of ten i might have read it wrong i only want a couple just for ladybirde flys or small insects
