Hi Paul,

Yes, they came through fine – all accepted.

I still need to improve the gallery - separate out the valley and non-Valley stuff and add meta-data, etc. I'll get round to it one day. Another thing for the list.

"Chris. On the subject of the gallery. I've not been able to upload
anything to it for ages, regardless of size. Don't know if it's a
problem at my end but I seem to be able to upload stuff to other sites."

Ignore the last comment. I've just added a few shots with no problems (I think). I can start putting you young upstarts back in your place with your barely acceptable shots Wink

Wow!! That's a cracking shot Mick. Mapperley Woods if I'm not mistaken. I did notice on Sunday the little branch behind the bird has now been removed by someone.

I baited up the same spot but the Woodpecker stayed behind the tree Frown

Was this taken with a long lens or cropped in? The detail looks very nice.

Mick,

I just found a picture you posted, I'm afraid it failed – I have lots of problems with the server accepting images. I resized it to 800 pixels and it finally imported okay. My apologies for only just noticing it, I normally get an alert.

Cracking photo! Where was it taken?

For those who haven't seen it: http://www.erewashvalleywildli…..0039-1.jpg

Thanks,
Chris

Hi Mick,

You're in good company here, lots of interest in photography and we have our resident expert Paul who's always helpful. Hopefully you've already found his articles.

Feel free to upload any photos you've taken using the link on the gallerys page and I can add them to the "Latest" Gallery.

Any problems using the site just drop a message on here or contact me via the "contact us" page.

Thanks,
