Hello all, the bird list stands at 99 now, there was a Hobby at the water treatment works in september, I missed that one and I'll probably find a couple more in my notebook, and records. So who's going to make it a ton ? Dave J.

99: Red-legged Partridge
100: Greylag Goose
101: Peregrine
102: Mediterranean Gull
103: Pink-footed Goose
104: Goldeneye
105: Pacific Golden Plover (we can live in hope)
If any of those are right then it will be a miracle but there are one or two I find hard to believe aren't already on there.

Couple of possible Whooper swans seen over at Belper so that's not too far away. How about a Cettis Warbler? Recorded breeding in Derbyshire this year and still around at the moment. A bit of a dream but how about lesser spotted woodpecker or maybe a passing osprey dropping onto shipley lake for a quick refuel. You never know!!

Dave J has just published the list of birds seen this year at Bennerley…
http://bennerleymarshwildlife-…..010-b.html
98 Birds so far. What predictions does anyone have for 99 and 100? The common ones are all covered and so it would have to be something relatively special…
I'm going to go for Red Kite and Merlin…
