Good account of an excellent event, Paul!
That was my second cup of tea, by the way.
On the walk, birds of note were a Great-spotted Woodpecker, Heron and a cracking Woodcock over Manner Flood that then dropped into the carr woodland.
Talk of a Dawn (ok, maybe Early Morning) Chorus as next event…

Paul you’re spot on with your last post on this thread, summed up what it’s like on most of the other photography forums perfectly, and yes it’s a lot better on a site like this one.

Yes indeed, I heard then saw a Raven over Locko when I first returned South about two years ago. I thought I was hearing things! Ravens in, L S Woodie out, it would seem.
