Clent Hills near Bromsgrove

A bank holiday weekend camping with my parents and the kids, and what a pleasant one it was. Ignore the weatherman, it was gorgeous.

We took a walk in the Clent Hills just south of Birmingham on Sunday and the views are fantastic, I’d recommend the walk if you’re in the area. The butterflies were all out too and so I took a few snaps I thought I’d share.

All the below were on the same plant, with also 2 Small Heath and 2 Meadow Brown.

First an Antler Moth, a day flying moth common across the UK especially on upper slopes and moorland.

Now my favourite butterfly the Small Copper, of which there were three.

The campsite also had an impressive bird list and Little Owl calls had me dreaming of Little Owls in Sainsbury’s last night!
