Colin, I’m 90 odd % certain that your Lesser Whitey is a Common. If you want me to explain why, just shout.

All sounds very interesting Simon. I think moths are more interesting than butterflies on the whole, certainly more varied.

Paul, I would venture this site is one of the best in lowland Derbyshire for butterflies, certainly for Dingy Skipper and Small Heath – the two BAP species.
